THE REMINISCENT VENUS

This gentle and smooth Venus figurine may have been an object her so to speak husband may have carried after the woman's passing.

Figurine was found in a grave with both man and a woman in it, with woman's bones visibly more damaged than the bones of a man, suggesting that he died some time after her. The members of their community damaged her bones just slightly as they were digging to find their location and they have laid her man along with his reminder of her in life next to him in their grave. Her softness and delicate body may mean she died young.

This figurine has been made possibly at 9 200 B.C. and it is 15.3 centimeters tall.
